Dear Esteemed Colleague,

Warm greetings.

You will be pleased to know that our prodigious Religions for Peace International Trustee, Mr. James Kidner, International Director of the Coexist Foundation, is inviting our Religions for Peace global family to nominate their interfaith hereo/heroine for the new Coexist Prize.

The $100,000 Coexist Prize will honor and reward the work of an unsung hero or heroine who has helped to build bridges between different faith communities.  In addition, there will be two runner-up prizes of $10,000 each.  This new initiative of the Coexist Foundation is an endowed endeavor that will be offered annually and offers a significant opportunity to advance the important work you are doing on behalf of Religions for Peace.

Submissions must be received by October 14, 2011. Click here to learn more and nominate someone.

The Coexist Foundation will film the work of those who are shortlisted, and the Prize-giving in the Spring of 2012 in New York City will include a series of short documentaries, shining light on the different ways in which religion can play a positive role in people’s lives today.  You will no doubt share with me in the confidence that members of our greater Religions for Peace family will come to be celebrated through the Coexist Prize.

With continued appreciation for all of your good efforts in advancing peace, I am

Yours sincerely,
